This is possibly an odd question, has anyone had experience with using an oil extraction pump? RockAuto has a pump but is unable to tell me if it will work properly with synthetic oils. Research on other pumps has shown that many are not recommended for use with synthetics.I need this for other vehicles as well as the HHR. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Is there an issue with just draining the oil out of the oil drain plug? That ensures you get the most of the dirty oil out .
