You are correct but mine is an LT Panel 2.4L, Running boards, 17-inch aluminum wheels, chrome tip, and according to the GM dealer parts guy equipped with remote start if I just bought the correct key and fob and had it programmed to the car. No ABS.
ALL HHRs are "1/4 ton light trucks" . Not just Panel. Some years they have different technical classification for CAFE related reasons.
If it has remote start and it is turned on in the DIC you can use a remote without RVS by pressing Lock+Panic. You can look at the hood latch, if it has wires connected to it, it has RVS.
ABS was an option in 2007 all HHR.
The Panel is only special in the windows and doors, All mechanical and classifications are the same as all other HHRs.
Thanks for clarifying that mistake. I was using that truck term loosely by mixing it up with the cargo vehicle designation of the HHR Panel, but even in that regard I was mistaken. ABS has been required on all passenger cars and light trucks built since 2012. I was thinking that happened earlier in stages with trucks having some exemptionsn but I was incorrect. Corporate Average Fuel Economy has caused manufacturers to move some vehicles into the truck category.
