kdugg, you say you had a turbo Civic, and you had to turn the a/c off to boost.
Was that a factory turbo? Seems like it would`ve been sized to allow boosting at all-times.
I only ask, because I have a Turbo Caravan, but the a/c never worked since I got it , so I`ve never had that problem. Pushing 12psi now, with 273,000mi..
I`m waiting for a Turbo HHR.

Hey, BB,
Do you know my friend Gary Donovan? He is a Mopar turbo junkie! He adds turbos to Caravans and races the darn things!
If not, give his site a looksie. He is a fountain of Mopar knowledge.

No, it wasn't really a turbo. It was a joke. We nicknamed it "The Slug" because going uphill or pulling in front of folks you had to turn off the A/C to get any kind of acceleration, so we referred to the A/C button as the turbo button...Sorry for the confusion.

Yep, I saw an article about him, used some of his ideas for piping the intercooler. Didn`t do the nos stuff, but it runs good for a old man.

Yeah right. C-Net doing car reviews. That's like having Brock Yates do a computer review. Those geeks should stick to what they "think" they understand.
