I use a 21 mm , 1/2 drive, 24” breaker bar and the handle from my HF floor jack, gives lots of leverage to get those bolts moving. Oh! And I soak the cage nuts with PB Blaster . The night before!

 

LCA's are in, found a broken sway bar link too. Luckily I have a pair that came with the car. Once they were unbolted, they fell right out and the rear mount wascompletely destroyed on both sides. Luckily I had my oldest son to help with the wrenching. It does run much smoother and the brakes are quieter too! Took most of the day, and the second one was a bit faster, but fought us to get the rear mount ligned up and flat.Now I need a nap.

** Update** I finally got around to spraying the door and the paint in the can says Chevy 56, which is what the small touch-up bottle says, but came out a shade lighter than what is on the car. I guess it is better than the grey primer that showed through, but not a perfect match like I have gotten with other cars using autotouchup products. Since it is on te passenger side, I don't have to constantly look at it but I know it is there...

 

Send them a photo of the difference in colour, perhaps they’ll send you a better match!

 

going to try the other sunburst orange, their code 802 it looks to be a bit lighter, but we shall see...

 

so after a few weeks in the sun and elements, the new paint has mellowed and is a close match to the rest of the car. First time I have seen this but it is to the point that I don't mind the color match. Still have not seen the new paint order from automotive touchup yet.

 

Clearcoat would probably improve the match.

 

Clearcoat was used, as were the primer they said to use

 

Seems plausible if not expected that the appearance would change as the cure completes.
