Stone is hard to find on volcanic islands.

for instance. I had purchased a bumper cover for my Saturn and was $130 for the bumper and $37 for shipping (From California to Hawaii is less distance than California to New York, so I don’t get that).
This is a fraction of the size, and completely bendable into a smaller box than a bumper. I think they just need to figure out manually. They’re not shipping it to Mars! Lol 😂

yeah I don’t understand that logic, tbh. Every other website including EBay charges less for PO Boxes here than for home delivery, just because it’s closer.
They literally have shorter distance to drive from the main airport hub, and if they delivered out here in the country, it’s nearly half an hour further than the post office. Perhaps it’s just a silly blanket tule that the site designer has been overlooking.

whoa! I think there’s a lot of wealthy people who do this. That’s a different world than what im accustomed to. Perhaps they are moving to Kona. That’s where all the millionaires live. I’m a farmer out in the country, 40 minute drive from town. Nobody out here has granite anything. 😂 We use lava rock for our house walls, pig fences, and beautiful property line accent walls. I mean, it’s expensive on the mainland, but here, you can have someone build you a wall for just the price of labor because it’s like ice cubes are to eskimos.
The hardware stores carry slabs of granite and marble for countertops, but I’m sure it’s at least half again of what the regular price is elsewhere.
I always feel bad for mainlanders who come here and try to recreate their old home here. (as they say in the south “Bless their hearts”).
It’s a different world, and much of that is really overkill, when the culture here is just to relax and enjoy nature!

Air freight costs a lot more than trucks, I guess you could get a freight consolidator to throw it into a container, if you don't mind waiting a few months. Maybe find a military family that is moving to Hawai'i get them to throw it into their household.
Shipping tons of stuff is pretty cheap, shipping individual items is expensive. Only USPS can deliver to a PO box, it is illegal for anyone else to place an item in a PO box without postage paid.
Somebody recently posted about a alternative piece. If RA has it Amazon has it. RA is a market place not a store front. Just punch the part number into the search.

Like this one that popped up first

Strange... I just clicked on it and it says there are 4 left. Are you getting redirected to a seller in Canada?

I wish this was one of those parts I could pick up at the junkyard, but as per its purpose, it’s one of the most scratched up, beaten up attachments on the car body. I’m sure 100% of the junkyard ones are going to be messed up.

I still don’t know how RA calculates shipments, because I just purchased a 40 foot bamboo fencing that was 2m tall and was heavy, and I paid $28.65 USPS shipping from Phoenix, Az.
this bumper guard can be rolled up half the length (it’s flexible like a rubber spatula) and weighs less than 2 lbs. Guess I need to contact them and ask what’s up.

That was just one on the top of several. We have the GM part number and the part number from RA, just put the part NUMBER in the Amazon/Ebay/AliExpress/Rakuten search box

I found it! Lethal Tendencies posted https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/appe...plitter-66165/
