Cool Power Door Locks Sticking

I have a 2008 LT2. the door locks are sticking. First it was the right rear and now the left rear and drivers door. If I hit the power lock button two or three times they will lock. If you don't sometimes the drivers door only sets half way and when you try to unlock it, it is jammed and will not lock or unlock. Lockley when this happens one of the back doors are completely unlocked so you can enter the car and pull up on the knob to unlock your doors. The stealer wants to sell me 4 new door lock actuators at $200 ea. I am not going there for a car that is only 5 years old. Also the remotes will not lock or unlock the doors anymore or remote start the vehicle.

Anyone out there with similar issues or a fix????

Welcome to the site Steve. I had the same issue as you with the passenger side sticking. Had mine replaced under warranty, then did it again. I took the door apart and filed down the hole where the lock knob is. Works fine now.

As for your remote, open it up and see if the connectors are touching the battery. One of my remotes wasn't doing that, had to make a little adjustment so they both touch the battery.

Welcome to the site.

Yep. The door lock sticking issue has been discussed to death in the past. Do a search here if you want to see a bunch of answers and suggestions. There were numerous threads about this.

Hint: Usually a little well placed lube in the mechanisms will do the trick. Hard part is getting access to it.

Remotes. Same answer as above(minus the lube of course )
