Anybody find any strange modifications done by previous owners? I had a good laugh with one today.

I had a friend following me home today in his Solstice GXP, and asked what was wrong with my 3rd brake light. Got home and pulled the light out and this is what I found. [IMG][/IMG]

I could understand HHR SS, but why HHH SS? (Sorry if the previous owner is a member here on the boards, no disrespect meant.) On top of that it was made out of electrical tape which had half melted onto the red lens, and for the life of me I cannot get all the residual glue off from it. Oh well, I have plans to modify the light at a later date anyway.

 

Rule #1

When making CHMSL overlays, always check your spelling.

If it was an old member here, I doubt they'd claim it, too funny.

 

And make sure it's rightside up. When I put mine in, I "almost" put it on upside down. Something about the hatch being open, threw me off when I installed it.
