PT Cruiser

I was working on a 2004 PT Cruiser today. I took it for a test drive and thought man this thing has more power than my HHR. When I got it back to the shop I saw that it was turbo charged. If the PT turbo runs that well I can only wonder that the HHR SS must be a blast to drive. It also was an automatic. I hope I can get an SS next year, maybe sooner if I'm lucky

Yea, but they had to put a turbo on it just to make it drivable. I've rented a PT, and I almost bought one 4 years ago. My biggest complaint about them is that w/o the turbo, they really struggle just to get to 70. The HHR I rented last year had the 2.2 and had no trouble doing freeway speeds. My 2.4, while no race car, gets up to 80 with no effort.

I drove an SS HHR last night. It does have a lot more power than my 2.4 but I cant justify 25 grand for a new one so I will wait for the used ones to start popping up in a couple of years.

before I bought my car, I ask myself 1 question?
do I want to get up the hill faster and burn more gas or just get up the hill and save gas/money. I really like my money in my pocket instead of blowing in the wind behind me.
But I have been there and done that. lol

I agree, I bought mine in 06 and still love it. Can't see trading off and going in further debt right now. Besides, I have mine trimmed out how I like it to look and don't want to start over.

I'm not saying I liked the PT better than my HHR because I do LOVE my HHR. And it has great power for a 2.4. Besides chrysler not for me I am a CHEVY person all the way.
