I am saving my pennies and going to buy this setup because it's war out there! All the states are pressed for cash and are not handing out warnings. In My state, state police use laser guns all the time unless they sneak up behind you and if that happens you are screwed. Local cops still use radar so this option for me is the best all around protection. The cost may look high but if you get a ticket in this state it will cost you less than $200. but your insurance cost for the next SIX years will almost pay for this setup! Well worth the money. And to see the look on the cops face when they can't track you, priceless! http://www.radarbusters.com/radar-de...ardetector.cfm

Interesting how many times folks zoom on by me when I am getting a warning signal, and sure enough they get caught and pulled over within the next mile.

I gave up on detectors a long time ago. Laser in Ohio is very hard to beat. When a motor cop jumps out from behind a tree with a laser gun no detector is going to save you.

I pretty much drop back and let some fool run lead blocker. His brake lights go on I back off.

I it kind of like racing the guy leading is not often the winner.

I don't drive as fast as I used too either. Ohio has the death penalty for speeding anymore. You can drive with bald tires, no brakes and on a cell phone reading a paper but don't speed.

You take your chances with laser no matter what...you just hope in traffic that you pick up scatter from somebody else he has his sights on..Ive been saved by laser before because of this..they use it around here alot, but then again I know the some of the spots. In the last 10 years Ive been tagged only because I was in between units,,, that wil never happen again!

I am very pleased with my rocky mountain radar/laser/jammer...i recently went to myrtle beach s. c. and was "hit" 2 different times running 90 in a 65 zone, both times the cop kept going...i know if he got a read on me, i would have got a hefty ticket.....rockymountainradar dot com about $300 and worth every penny.....i've had it over a year and no problems....
