x2 - big truth in the frustration comment, and hey, if a "newbie" says something along the line about taking a search around already but not able to find it, I will jump at the chance to try and find the info for them.

However if they won't even take it upon themselves to at least make an effort........... yeah, I'll sometimes point them in the direction of the search tool. In my mind there is nothing wrong with that - although others have made it very clear they don't see it that way.

From some of the comments a while ago, it appears some think the mods have amazing memories and know exactly where to go find the answer one is looking for - and the info is posted like a magician. Well it doesn't work that way - the mods and the many others that go search out links or info for someone, often spend 5, 10, 15 mins, or more, to find the details that will help someone out. It can be VERY time consuming.

So if I, or anyone, suggest someone try the Search tool, hey that's part of forum use. The info hopefully is there, try and dig it out yourself, and if you can't, just say the word and we'll try and help the person out.

"mods"? with a letter "m" ? Well, there's the problem. All this time I thought you were "gods" and could do anything, instantly.

Seriously. A big thanks for all the hard work the Admin. and mods. do for the site.

Great points and granted the search tool is awesome, I will still stand up and help a fellow HHR site member new or old to keep their ride running crisp and clean.
And go to therapy to deal with those times they don't acknowledge our help!!

Nope. Not gonna happen.
Just went this morning for a job interview. The wife said 8 months of retirement was enough for me. It might just be part time, but it is a job, so I hope she's happy.
