Rant...

I've recently visited a few other message boards and comment-enabled articles on the HHR (like autoblog and this: http://news.windingroad.com/?p=129), and I'm really surprised how many people leave some really disgusting comments about our vehicles. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not when it's out of sheer ignorance. I've yet to experience this in person (and I hope it stays this way). I'm not posting this to 'stir the pot,' but it just irks me to see things like on that page... when the poster is probably driving something like a 1990 Taurus

Meh. Let the haters hate. Those sites are populated by trolls that race to post the 'wittiest' anti-american auto comment. We all have different tastes but some don't know how to express themselves in a mature way. I have to admit that I was on the fence with the HHR - the price finally swayed me.

Don`t take everything someone says to heart. There are thousands of different cars on the road, every one has a driver who believes his is the best looking.
There are people on this site not satisfied about one thing or another about the HHR.
And, the day will come when you will even buy something new, and you`ll think it`s the greatest thing since sliced bread...
The only way for you to hear only good things about your ride, is to go into a sound proof room, alone, and say it... B/B

My kids tell me I'm the only person they know who says some cars are ugly. I'm sorry but that's how I feel. The HHR is not the most stylish car available. But I sure convinced my brother-in-law how good it was when I showed him the mileage I got. His Hummer gets about 8 mpg!

I don't care what others think. I like it, I bought it, and I'm proud to drive it!

Cool

I agree with SandyBeach on almost everything! I just happen to think the HHR IS the most stylish vehicle EVER!

There are some ugly cars out there. (boxes on wheels etc.)

I love the HHR because it's a faithful re-incarnation of the '49 Suburbans I grew up with. I suspect some of the younger people "don't get it" . I've noticed many "mature" people driving them.
