Rear Hatch Height Issue.....
Oh, so you havent bought one yet. In that case, someone should let you know you will probably also have to duck to see stoplights when stopped at an intersection. The top edge of the windshield is low enough to obstruct the view if you are 6'+, better check on your next test drive.
Thanks for the heads up but I have spent much time reading reviews etc. and already know that issue as well. Maybe they could also fix the issue of the moon roof protruding down into the cabin at the same time by raising the top an inch or so. I could just lower my seat, but don't want to be sitting on the floor to fix these issues. Too hard on the ol back.
Just another case of not thor'oughly critiquing the vehicle before building it.
It's taken GM 5 years just to address the window switch placement and cup holder issues (changed in 2009).
Another pet pieve of mine is the Braking of this vehicle. From reviews it looks like resurfacing front rotors every 12,000 to 15,000 miles is fairly common.
When vehicles used 13" 14" & 15" tires and wheels I could understand, but with 16" to 18' wheels...whats the problem with upsizing the brakes. It's been a problem with many GM cars and trucks over the years. Even the Suburbans were under braked on the 1500 series until recently. One of my current vehicles, a 2005 Chevy Venture Van I order new, is terrible on brakes. First rotor resurface at 10,000 miles...No charge as the Chevy dealer knows how I drive and felt guilty. Second one at 25,000. Border line for rotor replacement. Third one. 40,000 ... Replaced rotors and pads with Raybestos slotted high performance rotors and quiet pads. So far so good. Rear drum linning still at 60% left. Cleaned up, flushed brake fluid and adjusted.
The point is ... why do they continue to under size brakes on so much of there fleet. I know... thats a different issue.
If the article I just read comes true you may be looking at the New GM product called the "TOYLET". Thats when Toyota buys a 50% or more stake in the company. The current stock price is pathetic and opens up opportunities for foriegn companies to take advantage.
I truly would hate to see that day but at this stage anything could happen.
Enough already........
If the hatch is a "defect" then the door openings must also be considered a defect, as one has to duck to keep from banging their heads when entering the car to sit down in the drivers seat.
Sorry, but nitpicking and silly complaints (like the one with the wind blows in my ear when I have the drivers window down - geesh) are driving me away from this forum.

I'm just 6ft. tall......close to average now days.
I hit my head on the rear hatch unless I duck. What the heck takes so long to notice that "error" and make a simple change to the angle for a FIX.
One time opening the hatch and the problem was noticed.
"Cumon Chevrolet.....Get your engineering and testing fixed as well.
Anybody else notice this issue ?????

Is this the first car you've ever owned? I noticed over the years on most of the cars I owned, I need to crouched down a bit to get in so I don't give myself a concussion
