Rear hatch won't lock or unlock

Brad, I'm hoping that they will just replace the struts.
When the temp is in the 20 and 30's is when the hatch work's real slow and has to be pushed open.
And yes, my 62 year old body moves slower when the temp is below 30 degrees F outside. It's hell getting older.

YES! That was the problem. I pulled the fuse from #11 and the hatch lock works fine now.

Thanks to you ChevyMgr....for posting the fix.

You're welcome. I wasn't for the change or spreading the wealth, that was hyped in November, but I am always for "Spreading the Knowledge"!

I pulled fuse #11 and the rear gate still wont lock

fuse #11 inhibits the unlock. nothing to do with locking.

Perhaps you could start a new thread stating your particulars year,model,exactly what is wrong,what you have done etc.

This particular thread died in 2008, The chances of any of the participants being around is tiny.
