You need a good scan tool and a pass thru devise to do this work.I'm not sure the cks will learn on it's own.

 

I have fallowed a senior retired local mechanic and ordered a New VXDIAG VCX NANO GDS2 OBD2 Scanner Diagnostic Tool Fit for GM/Opel and will not do anything until I get it and have to learn how to use it.
If this one doesn't work good enough I will purchase a better one.

 

No the CPS will not relearn on its own

 

The CKS does not relearn itself. It might not throw a code but that does not mean the variation is learned. The code it might throw is for "no data" not incorrect data.
The 2006 ignition system is not the same as the 2007 system, so the ECM is different, and the harness is different

 

The second one that I found to purchase all these parts from is a 2007 HHR LS the same as mine, still starts and drivable just terrible rear dent.
They are Both 2007 HHR LS 2.2 LTR, so will the ECM and Harness be the same and could the CPS relearn on it's own?

 

What's wrong with your ECM and BCM? It's extremely rare that these computers go bad.

 

Again no the CPS doesn’t learn by itself.

 

You would have an illegal car no matter what.
