Sex of HHR owner/drivers
OK, 56 Married male, wife 45, she really liked the retro look of the PT and the HHR. I don't buy Chryslers, or Fords, so when the HHR came out.....Hey only question was what color. The Nostalgia and the gas mileage, along with the room. Got out of an Astro, had to save gas somehow. My first car was a Corvair, so maybe I'm regressing back to the gas mileage cars, I drive the HHR, she smokes, so I keep her from doing that in this one, keeps the leather smell if you don't smoke in them. I have to say, she likes the look of it so it's sort of a tie, we both like the style(retro) look of this car, which allowed me to make the purchase. She drives an Impala. I have hauled a lot of stuff in this thing since I've bought it, and really have to say this a work horse of a vehicle, so I have to go with the more utilitarian status of the HHR.
It's been called a hearst, a beach buggy(woody) and a van. It does seem women like the looks of it, and my 12 year old boy says the kids at school comment on the HHR all the time. He likes to go anywhere in it to be seen. Remember how it was cool to be seen in a Vette? I like it.
