Cant you get in trouble if you have historical plates on a daily driver? Or does that vary by state? I heard at least in Michigan you put yourself at risk by doing that, like if you get in an accident in the rain or something you can be screwed.

Love the truck. I had a 70 pickup just like that wish I still had mine. Good to see you are doing well!

usually the law is that you arent supposed to drive it more than 500 miles a year. as far as i know there is no way to prove that, i have buddies that have historic plates on their DD.

Every state has it's own laws governing the use of "historical plates" so check with your local authorities before assuming anything.

In North Carolina the historical tag must be for the year of the vehicle on the registration and your "real" plate must be in the vehicle so it can be produced if a cop needs it to write you a ticket or check your registration.

Real nice 72 there, Paul, I've built a couple over the years and now they are not that cheap, so this is one investment that you can't get upside down in Bro!!! Keep up the good work! Dave P.S. I think that color is called "medium blue"
