I've really enjoyed reading on this forum and learned so much from all you good folks. I'll still stop by and check it out. OH, another reason for the convertible is my six year old granddaughter. You should have seen her smile when grandpa drove up in it to pick her up. I'll never forget the look on her face. And it is still a retro styled car.

Peace and love to all you HHR folks.....til we meet again....

I had a 67 Mustang, it was a tossup between the HHR Panel and an 08 Mustang.... gas mileage and cheaper insurance won out....

I have an '07 Convertible GT that has been retired from daily driving duties thanks to my new HHR SS

Has the 475bhp Saleen Supercharger on it too, it's a wild ride. Now that I have the HHR for daily commutes, I will be upping the boost levels when my warranty expires.

There's just something about a topless Mustang, especially with a rumbling V8!

Enjoy!

My HHR can beat up your Mustang!
Up here in NY, Mustangs can only be driven 3 months of the year! (SNOW)
But seriously, best wishes on the new Mustang.

There's no reason you have to say goodbye. I would think any HHR owner, former HHR owner or for that matter anyone who has an interest in HHR's will always be welcome here. Stay connected,

Thanks for the kind words. I still "eyeball" every HHR I see and catch myself waving at them. They are super cars. It was just that at this time in my life I wanted the Mustang really bad. For those who wanted to see some pics, I have them below. The first was the same location I took a pic of my HHR, and the second is the old fart himself (me) in the car. If you see me waving at your HHR, wave back. I still think they are great cars.

Looks great. I like the red/tan combo. Is the roof black or tan?

The roof is tan. I can already tell it will be a PITA to keep clean.
