SS Spoiler Removal

So.. are there any specific, step by step removal instruction? I cant find it if there is, and the threads on here seem to skip ahead a few steps for my uneducated self.

Many thanks

Found this https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/appe...ll-info-24114/ Post #6 shows what it looks like where it attaches.

You could make a template off the donor car after you get the spoiler off.

So do you need to remove the interior panel piece to get at the backside bolts of the spoiler?

No, the two outer attachments(studs/nuts) are easily accessible with the inner panel still in place. So you'll have to pull the rubber plugs for them, take the nuts off, cut the 2-sided tape, and then pry the spoiler off at the 3 inner push pins. I am looking at my '09 SS, I wouldn't think the '07 would be any different.

You'll need to get some more Rally Stripe material for it, too.

This is what you see sitting on the ground, facing the rear of the vehicle, looking up at the open hatch. You see the 4 rubber plugs, the upper ones are covering the access holes. You'll need a 10mm nutdriver or socket. Check to see if you need the rubber plugs for your car also, some apparently are not drilled for it.

Awesome thank you! That's exactly the info I needed. Also regarding the stripes I'm debating on the spoiler being all black or not and might leave the stripe material there. I think it would look good with a black spoiler with all the rest of the black accents, no?

This might help. Shows the outer right side stud/nut.
