Now Don! We only invade to escape the winter duldrums and snow!
And bring a huge amount of spending money to boost Florida’s economy.
BTW Oldblue does not have a sunroof!
I live in Sturgeon Bay Wis, Door County. About 9,000 people in town and I see maybe 10 to 12 HHRs in town. Lot more in Green Bay Wis. All seem to be in good shape.
Model years 08 and 09 were indeed officially marketed and sold across Europe. However the numbers were apparently too small to warrant a type approval. So each and every HHR here had to be individually inspected and approved by the traffic authorities before first registration.
To comply with local traffic laws, several changes had to be made (factory built-in):
- an additional sidemarker bulb was built into the headlights
- the front yellow sidemarkers were converted into additional turn signals
- rear turn signals were changed to yellow (yellow bulb where the back up lights originally sit)
- to house the back up lamp and a rear red fog light, a small black plastic box was placed under the rear bumper
I guess that only a few dozen HHRs or so were sold in Switzerland. Every now and then I see heads turning when I am driving by. Nobody here knows what car it is. Besides my two tone is rather unusual, too, and during summer time white sidewalls and chrome smoothies add to the confusion...
Live in Florida also, Vero Beach, and every time I am out see several HHRs. I always think I cannot believe how many and if this popular why did Chevy quit making them.
The Delta platform went away, so did all the models that used it.
