When you grease it , it will squirt!
George, mine had only 54,000 miles when I changed out the clunking OEM links , Donbrew's at the time was saying , look for marks on the LCA where the link had been hitting it, I measured the link it was 12 inches, I called up the dealership, they said they had no idea or record of the links being changed!
I called the previous owner, he was the original owner, he said he had them replaced under warranty at 9,000 miles at a dealership near his son's place in Edmonton,Alberta.
It had clunked ever since and was one of the reasons he traded it in!!

Mine came used to me with the old moog links. Someone before me had a clunkin time! MAN those things were CRAP. the entire back of each of the boots was just open to the air, and you would need to grease them far more often than the new style I would imagine.
Also, I was scared to add more grease! Beofre install, they were pumped full and the boot started to "balloon".... Didnt want it to burst! maybe there is a wee little hole that I just couldn't see

The excess grease has always exited through through gaps in the boot. As soon as you see it STOP.
But, where do you suppose grease would disappear to? Why would it need replenishing? Which is why I don't think greaseable is so important.
In joints where there is no zerk you can go medieval and use a needle.
