Thinking back it was more likely a Carter WCFB......the Rochesters like the 4GC and the famous/infamous Quadrajet came later.

Curses to you db/sb. You stirred up my memory bank.
Years ago, I built a 455 Olds motor to put in my 72 Hurst optioned Cutlass. I went with a Carter AFB for the ease of it's adjustability. It sat on a Holley intake.
