it won't hide the discs completed...

The main reason for disc is the stopping power
2nd is the looks...

Been thinking about tinting my windows too and wasn't sure with what to do with the factory tint. Thanks for the bits of advice from everyone. I think I'm going to go with limo on the untinted windows and a lighter tint on the factory tinted ones just to help match them up. Not too worried about the cops. I have a PI License and thus far the judges have thrown out the couple of citations I got for the limo tint on my truck.

Ok I know I said the tint was easy to install but I was wrong on the HHR..Anybody have any tips on getting the tint down behid that thick black weather stripping that goes all the way around the window?

using a thin squeezze tool, tuck it down

I tryed that but I think the precut tint is a little oversized so its hard to get it all to tuck in..I think I may have to trim a little bit off..

yes.. theres only so much you can tuck in ....
