When I got new tires I asked the guy to mark the rims and put them back like they were.
He said they knew how to reset them, I said nah, just mark them.
And I, too had the disappearing reading for one tire when my old battery was flaky.
The new battery has solved that and the SERVICE TRACTION warning that would come up from time to time. My car hates a weak battery.

The procedure for resetting the tire positions is in your Owner Manual. late 2010 and 2011 needs a special tool.
