Just went through a wedding myself so I feel ya.

Watch Craigslist. I got a set of Cobalt steelies with blizzacks already installed up in Milwaukee for $400 and the guy even mounted them for me.

When this action ends look at "see other items from this seller".
They always have them, new set of 4 for ~$60 shipped.

i dont think these are the corect sensors for the hhr at least there not the same as me 08 2lt i just purchased a set of 15" steel wheels from tirerack.com, a set of 205/65/15 firestone winter force tires localy not the 205/60/15 tirerack.com recomends. my spedo is dead on i checked with two diffrent gps systems..., and tpms from ebay.com

this is what mine look like, and if you have ruber valve stems than this is what you have. you can also use metal valve stems with these sensors.

these are the ones i purchased

should be easy to set. mine had a problem aperantly i need to have my remote keyless entry module reprogramed. so i was not able to set the sensors as the manual says. but luckly i have a tpms programer at my dispose at work so i was able to set them with that. now all is well no lights no chimes at start up no problems

I'm glad those are working out for you.

Mine are in there and working great

Used Pirellis on Cobalt SS/SC
American Racing black lugnuts
Correct Sensors http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=330377958279
$97 install, balance, flash computer at the Stealership!

$666 total from start to finish or soup to nuts ATCMB talk about gangsta, they're friggin evil!

I know it'll all look killer if the calipers magically become gloss black
I'll be pricing that at the local powdercoater vs duplicolor rattlecan

While I'm at it - Dragon129 in Tenn/NC is a friggin blast!

hey it looks great im glad it all worked out for you. i painted my rear drums and front calipers with duplicolor caliper paint. it looks great the have a good shine and they stay fairly clean looking. i cant see them now tho cause i just put my steel winter rims and tires on. but when i painted them i sand blasted the rear drums i know you dont have that on the ss but mine is a 2lt the drums were rusty with paint pealing is just looked terrible. the front i just wire brushed them really good with laucqar thinner and then wiped them down taped them and sprayed them. pretty easy i think the caliper paint was only around $10

noticed you go to deals gap thats awsome i rode my crotch rocket there from chicago in the rain. totally worth it once we got there ive never seen such a bad ass road. especialy on the rocket i had to buy a new set of tires and shoes when i got home because i wore the outside of the toes of my shoes off. lol

I hope you wore gloves with that lacquer thinner, that's nasty stuff!

Parts guy at the stealership recommended manifold paint.
How's that caliper paint holding up?
How many miles has it been on there?

Edit - just found a cool pic from The Dragon, guess I'll add it here
