Traction Control Woes

Hi Alll

I am new to this site, but proud owner of an 06 LT2 Black with all but OnStar and XM. Loving my ride but have had problems, mainly with the traction control. When driving back to Columbus from Cleve, I noticed that the T/C light came on on the dash and the truck slammed into drive when shifted. Then, as soon as it came on, it went off and all was normal. Anyone else had this issue. BTW--I took it to Germain Chevy here in columbus. Great service, awful washes (looked like my HHR had been deflowered by the entire service dept!!)

Not good news

My father in law's HHR has the Traction control problem also. It's a software problem. GM has it in the Monte Carlo, Impala and a truck I think. They currently have no solution. The dealer reset the light and said the car should run fine until they get a solution to the software.

Just drive the car in "I" and you wont have this problem. Check out the owners manual and it tells you how to disable the transaction control.
