Trade-in

Okay, so I might have spoken too soon. Prices are all relative based on location. I just ran across a 2010 SS in CA for $20k: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invento...sting=40868796
Check out http://cargurus.com. They'll take into account the advertised equipment and rank different listings as good deal, fair deal, bad deal. Pick a city within a reasonable driving distance, search for the car with all the options you want, and use that to help you with your bargaining. It may be different where you're from, but in my area the mileage tradeoff is about $1k per 10k miles for mileage below 40k. I'm not sure how well that holds up above 40k miles because we didn't look at anything over 40k.
Now, if you're just trading up to a better trim level and it's going to cost you $10k, you might want to consider what else that kind of money could buy. In some places, that's a good chunk of the down payment on a house. In other places, it'll buy the house!

Well according to the Canadian Black Book site, my trade in value is between $7,200 -$9,000..hmm. I bought mine in March of this year with 45,000kms on it and paid 11,900 for it plus extended warranty came out to about $17,000 CAD

SS comes with everything already that I have started on mine. Only thing i would like to keep are the rims. Would stock SS wheels/rims fit the LS if I would swap them?

Doesn't look like it has Brembos, I agree, but hard to tell from pics imo..
That's something you are gonna have to decide.. Sounds like every aspect of this equates to more money, more money & more money...
Is it a Need ? No...... Is it a WANT for ya ? I'd say yes for you.. I personally prefer my 2LT Panel..
