The car definitely earned its 5-star crash rating. All 4 doors still opened and latched shut properly. Thank God for the design which protects the passenger compartment with crumple zones. If this was a 70's car, like I learned to drive on, the story would have ended differently.

It's going to be replaced with another HHR for sure.

Oldblue, yes I hate to see an HHR busted up like that.

I am working on a replacement HHR and will show pics of the new one when I get it.
