Yeah, so did ours... Not enough room in there for a good 3 row crossflow radiator AND the 350....

I had a 79 Chevy Monza 2+2 with the factory 305, drop a 350 from a 79 Corvette in it, Hooker Headers, custom exhaust. The wife had a Maroon 78 Vega, was a good car as well. Had the Monza all the way up until 2002 when I sold it, was one of the hardest things I ever did. Loved that little car.

I also had a 79 monza 2+2. It was the first new car I ever bought. It was a black car with factory spoilers. It had the 3.8 V6 with a 5 speed. It was a pretty sharp little car. I got great service out of that Monza and it never gave me any trouble. The V6/5spd combo wasn't blazing fast but was still fairly quick. Anyway I still had my big block Camaro for the go fast times.

Cool Ran well

My VEGA ran well. 100K mi. My mother would later total it out.

I was surprised it did so well. 1st new Chevy I had owned.

Previously, I bought a used '56 Chevy for $50. 4 dr, auto. Had it for several months and sold it. Wish I had it now. I know I'd get more than $50 for it.
