Flex-Seal clear tape (4" wide) works for sunroofs. Lasts about a year in Minnesota parking outside (no garage) It is a bit of work to replace but it doesn't look to terrible and it doesn't leak. Although you can't open the roof but I don't on my other cars either.

Post #10. He says he doesn’t have a sunroof.

I KNOW!!! That was in response to the post about using Hart Duct tape. (post #20)

just saying Flex seal tape works well to seal leaks...I used it years ago on my Land Rover that had a strange rust hole in roof above windshield. it leaked water and wind while driving. Truck was on it's last legs and not worth repairing . Engine died about 6 months later but made it through the winter.

Exactly my thought. I've been out of town for work so it has to wait. I am going to pull that cowl here soon. I'm 72 so that Texas sun beats the hell out of me. Sheesh, never used to. I just need to let it get a cool stretch. We've got a weak front coming in late this week so maybe then.I'll post what I find then.

Thanks man.

This is the basic LS model so no sunroof. I've had 2 cars with sunroofs and they both leaked badly after a few years. But thank you. This current problem with standing water on the passenger side floor was a nuisance, now it's a mission.

What about water on just the driver rear floor board anyone ever have that I’ve had it a few times after really heavy rain. I have a sunroof I dropped the headliner tubes all intact. Buddy and me looked at it door seal was funky. Replaced that so far so good. Idk what else to look for. Took all the panels off plastics no water from up top.

Might be a floor plug.
