A turbo isn't required equipment for getting a ticket, my normally aspirated, Trifecta Tuned 2.2L L-61 propelled me into into an involuntary contribution to the NC Highway Fund just four days ago.

And that's why I invested in a radar detector lol. Although I still managed to get pulled over about 2 weeks ago for doing 70 in a 65. Never thought that would happen, but the officer was nice enough to just give me a warning as opposed to the $170 ticket he could've written me. So I'm thankful for that.

I received one as a gift. Radar Sniffer that is. Helped me avoid many more tickets.

Must admit, since I was legal to drive solo at 16, I have been involved in 20 traffic stops, and 2 citations as a result. +1 Red Light ticket that didn't count towards a driving record.

My 2.2 1LT Shadow Edition is not something to shake your head at. With a 5sp, and a driver who isn't afraid to push it.

@843de do you mean Naturally Aspirated?

Well technically, both Normally and Naturally Aspirated are correct when referencing gasoline and diesel engines which do not use forced induction such as Superchargers or Turbo-Superchargers(the latter commonly shortened to Turbochargers or Turbos).

Do you remember when "naturally aspirated" meant a carb, not injected?

BTW, you do know about online traffic school? I found one last year for $35 got me 3 points back

Carburetor, hmmm, that rings a bell Don. How many brands can you name?

Let's see...

Holley
Carter
Weber
Rochester
Edelbrock
Demon
Jet
Motorcraft
Dellorto
SU
Stromberg
Marvel Schebler
Hitachi

No online traffic schools in this part of NC, but it would be handy.
