Added a Chevrolet script on the dash of my HHR. I bought 3 Chevrolet chrome scripts last week (60.00) and they were too small for what I wanted to use them. I used one on the dash above the glove compartment. These were originally used on the interior dash of older Chevrolets.

A photo is included below of where I installed one of them.

The script has 3 small studs with clips. I didn't use the clips. I used the studs by drilling a small hole in the dash and pushing them in. Doesn't look like they will ever loosen. If they do I will use some glue. I intended to grind off the studs and use glue but I took the easy way out. Using a small awl might work but I think they would loosen up because you are just pushing the material in.

You could put these scripts in a different location. I thought about just below the upper compartment but changed my mind and put them on the right side. I think it balances out the dash.

I have 2 New Chevrolet Chrome Scripts left over. They are small 3/8 by 5.5 inch.
$20.00 each.

Thanks everyone for the thumbs up! couple days later and still COMPLETE SILENCE on the front end. Did finally get my new HID bulbs yesterday.. Had 10000K, swapped them out for 8000k after one burnt out. Much brighter and still looks good!
