What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Personally, I'd go for a high temp engine paint in a black crackle finish, it'd give you that "Lotus Twin-Cam" look that some of us geezers remember.

Pick out the Ecotec lettering in silver and it would look mighty sharp, and unlike the Lotus engines it wouldn't be an explosion waiting to happen.

The interior of my HHR is black and and strong lime-ish green, if your familiar with Monster Energy drink its the same color as the "M". I was trying to find a brand and paint type. I was looking at home powder-coating kits which would give me the high temp resistance, and a wider range of colors so I can match the greens. The black and silver letteing is S H A R P!!! I want my engine bay to "POP" so to say lol. I will definitely use your silver lettering suggestion!!!
Needed some touch up paint, the chevy dealer was special order too much $$,so I went to a auto body paint supplier, had the paint code mixed a 2 ounce bottle with the nail polish brush for $11.00 in case anybody needs a good deal.

Thank You, The Wrinkle Plus just comes in Black, AFAIK.. Any auto parts should have it..
That is not a GM decal, the GM logo is undercut into the lid by GM, I used Eastwoods' Ceramic Engine paint & filled the undercut GM to accent it.. IMO, makes it pop !!
Color is 1964-'82 Chrysler Red, same color I painted all my brake components..
This is the ONLY GM made & Approved CAI
