You know Sam, if you'd stop turning your current tires into clouds of smoke(fun though it may be), you wouldn't be the Imelda Marcos of forum.

Honestly my friend, how many sets does this make on the Short Bus should since you brought it home?

So what kind are you trying now, or are you going back to Goodyear's?

Hammered Paddy back and forth to Raleigh, 300+ miles of high speed cruising does wonders to blow the carbon out.

Hopefully that makes up for too many weeks sitting in the garage.

Just got back from York, Pa last night . I went up thursday and back friday. Averaged over 33mpg on the way up back I averaged about 31.5. This was due to I-81 becoming a parking lot due to a wreck. Iwent up for a TCA show. 7 buildings full of toy trains. This was at the York fair grounds. Had a ball. On the way back I was following a Prius for a while every time we came to much of a hill it would stall out and I would have to pass it and over the crest on the downhill here it would come on by me until the next hill. That got old after a while. They really seam down on power.

TCA in York! You lucky devil Ron!

I haven't been there in years, and my wife was somewhat less than excited by the boxes of "treasures" that came back me.

A Prius in hilly territory, they're hopelessly underpowered, about the only thing worse is being stuck behind a wheezing motor home on the Blue Ridge Parkway. That's when you start fantasizing about nudging "Bill & Betsy Sue - The Happy Wanderers From Boise!" and thier Winnebago over the guardrails.

Don't know I have lost track. It was the little brother who needed shoes. I didn't love the BFG comp2 on the SS, they didn't have enough traction, so I put them on the panel to enjoy the the things they do well, it doesn't need much grip...Haha. Went with the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S #3, in a 235x45x18. I'm liking them so far. Taking it to another autocross tomorrow, we'll see how they do.........

Dido! Safe travels and dont have too much fun lol (sarcasm inserted here) But to the thread! I finally managed to get rid of the black turtle thats beens sleeping on my motor, and not spend over $50! My Spectre one-off CAI, definitely worth the effort in making it work! Especially the hour worth of time letting it re-calibrate itself! Now to go buy the big white filter.. Got the blue filter from a buddy of mine.. I told him it would be more usefull on my HHR then his PT lol He keeps trying, and I keep winning.
