norman new guy here, shouldn't be cause got the '08 in '08. didn't do anything to the HHR today but I do need to take the hub caps off (LT type), sand them down and repaint, brake dust has devastated the silver coating. Tried to talk the DW into taking em all off and running all black, looks soooo much better without those fake caps. Just love my HHR, goes good with my 1965 Chevy Van with 292 that pulls a travel trailer. Two handy Chevy's that can carry anything.

LVJJJ this is what the stock steelies look like, paint them whatever color you like, like Hotrod red. These are my winter rims.

Well, not today but Saturday I installed a new flywheel, KY Stage 3 clutch and TOB. While the cradle was out, I installed my hahn pipes and TTR transmission mounts. The TOB must be pretty stout, it feels unnatural that the clutch feels softer than OEM.

Colors sound Cool, like FEAR1HHRs colors, but yours has been a Bare Shell for 2 months already, not worrying about rusting ?

Just had the following installed on my '07: Canuck lowering springs (with camber bolts in the front), KYB shocks in the back, KYB struts and strut mounts in the front, R1 Concepts slotted and drilled front rotors, and Hawk pads.

No complaints at all--the Canucks lowered it exactly to where I thought they would, and the ride and braking are both great...

I'm actually running the Cobalt SS variation of the Canuck with a set of custom Canuck rear springs to get rid of the 3/4" rake that I had after the initial drop. It's a little more drop then what you get from the HHR Canuck springs.

Hey, that looks great! So you got the Cobalt Canuck springs and then had the rears additionally customized? How's the ride? I'm probably going to eventually get rid of the baby moons and dip the car and the wheels a dark green--I think the moons actually take away from the lowered look. But yeah, yours looks nice and slammed... :-)
