Ouch!

I'll add that to my list of: "Why I'm glad I don't live where it snows."

Have you reported the damage to the police Fox Hat, if the plow operator didn't stop, an offense has been committed.

Regardless of whether it was a city owned plow, or private operator, they are legally liable for the damage to your vehicle.

Plus a police report will provide your insurance company with an incident number for their investigation, and recovery of monies paid out to repair your vehicle from the parties at fault through Subrogation.

Sorry about the damage Foxhat. Do you live in a don t park on the street snow area. Here you can t park on the street during a snow storm so the plow won t hit a car or be responsible for damages, also you could be ticketed for it, our cities are run by lawyers.

Take care Jay. Feel better!

I live in a townhouse complex. My car was in my spot. Its the last one WAAAAY at the back.
Yes I called the police. Described my location, the damage and the "hit and run" aspect. They had an officer attend.
The officer that came out said there should not be any issues with getting it repaired through insurance.
The owners of the complex have been notified. Through them they may be able to track down the equipment operator. We will see what transpires.

Ah, much better situation, get it repaired at your choice of body shop!

For me I just dug out the driveway and stayed home with a sore shoulder from starting the snowblower

just a trip to the city for a follow up Doctor's appointment, those new brakes are very nice and I wondered what took me so, long to swap to SS brakes.
