Well, I have a new windshield with a blue/green shade strip as of today. Safelite put it in and my insurance paid. I got my lawn chair out and sat there and watched everything they did. It looks really good. I like it much better than the clear one that was in there.

Once you get a windshield with the tint band across the top, you just have to wonder why GM's bean counters cheaped out initially.

Glad to hear you're all fixed up.

After yesterday, folks in these parts sobbed quietly while peeling these off their cars, trucks, riding mowers, and motor scooters.

went to another funeral yesterday, Uncle John pasted last Friday. at least the temps were in the high 40's, and no rain, he did not like the rain or the cold.
Today. not to much.

To paraphrase Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, "Remember Seahawks, thou art Mortal!".

Too much pregame overconfidence and hype turned the Carolina Panthers into Schrödinger's Cat, quite dead at the end of the game.

Oh well, there's always next season.

(And on topic, for the first time in quite a while, I drove one to someplace other than my doctor's office or hospital...yay!)

Thanks, guys. age does creep up on you, he was 89 years old.
Today, gonna take a cruise out to Niagara Falls, have a coffee with some car guy friends I haven't seen since last summer. One of them is having an issue setting up his dual quad 62 409 Biscayne. So, I'll look at that for him, last time he set the float level to low on the primary carb and mixed up the jets, but that was 37 years ago when he brought the car. should be a nostalgic afternoon.
