I'm so dumb. Cycled the power locks and it all works!

Picked up my new-used hatch at the salvage yard and took it to the paint shop. Found out that it has a spoiler on it! A nice bonus, plus it really was in perfect condition just like they said.

I put my new license tag on with smoked cover and stainless screws. Replaced the gold bowtie in rear hatch. Used a .011 guitar string to cut the old one off. ALso installed a new Pioneer speaker in drivers door. Bought new speaker from Amazon.com. Stereo sounds much better.

Drove mine home very gingerly, the cab is was in today got rear ended by a girl reading a text message while driving her Tahoe.

Got an ambulance ride to the ER along with the cab driver, he's a bit banged up, I've got some really ugly seatbelt bruises and my neck is so stiff and sore that I can't turn my head more than 10 degrees.

"Texting Girl" didn't get a scratch on her even though she nailed us doing around 40, the Police cited her for at least five things, so she'll be paying the piper.

Basically, Chevy Tahoe going 40mph + stopped Dodge Caravan taxi = a day off work to go see my doctor for a follow-up, and knowing how it feels to fall off a roof onto concrete.

But on the upside, I missed what was going to be a boring budget meeting.
