It's been awhile, but finally got my HHR back from the body shop today. Got it all fixed up and they didn't even put the front license plate bracket back on (one less thing for me to do)... however the original *idiot* dealership drilled right into the bumper and the rubber part.. So much for avoiding buying a new one.

843de, sorry to hear you got hurt!

Looks great man. Can't wait to do mine. Does everything just bolt up? Handbrake, etc? Any noticable difference in braking?

I'm in the process of manufacturing the tabs that can be welded on to the stock drum axle. Then all you have to do is drill the two mounting holes for the caliper. All the stock ss brake parts mount right up.
Parking brake will lock the rear wheels even if your moving. Car won't roll on hills when parked any more.
Braking is better even before I put the ss front discs on.
All you need is rotors, calipers, backing plates, banjo hoses, some assorted grade8 bolts, and the tabs.
I got all the parts from Gm direct and rock auto on line.
So far I've invested around $500.00.
