This by far has to be the easiest front wheel hub assy ive ever removed....now hurry up fer ex with my parts due today! Its like they planned the hubs to fail frequently, hmm reminense of tbe phrase 'planned obsolescence'
Edit: completed both hubs, results not a heck of a lot difference in symptoms. Still road noise and annoying muffled grinding noise when stopping moderatley hard. At least I know the bearings are new when Im on the road.

Used the thread on here to locate the proper rear tail/stop/turn lamp, a #3057LL to replace the burned out one on the wife's 2LT. The rear access panels make it real easy to swap them out. Wished Chevy had done same thing for the front lights, but, oh well LOL

Just finished installing the Harbor Freight dual horns and they sound great — a HUGE improvement over the wimpy stock single horn!

I followed a76marine's how-to thread as a guide. Only difference was I used heat-shrink connectors (no electrical tape).

Can't imagine a better $20 mod!

Moved them around to make room for the "free Toyota" in the "serious tinkering" garage. It has me chasing a P0401 EGR trouble code, and despite my best efforts not to, I'm becoming fluent in Camry.

Chevrolet Dealer called to say I have an apointment to have my ignition switch changed next Friday per Recall. Then yesterday I got the Recall notice for the power steering motor in the mail. This is becoming a new part time job just keeping up with the recalls and repairs. And don't think that all this bad advertisement in the papers and on TV doesn't hurt your 'trade in value' or your ability to sell the car if you wanted just get rid of it.

We recieved the recall letters on the power steering yesterday. It said that no parts were available and my dealor said that we would be notified when they became available. We have had no problems with either of ours, a 09 and a10.

Loaded up my loving wife, our son, and my mom into Paddington the '07 for a run to my favorite steakhouse. Being a Daddy has its perks.

Nothing like good food and great company to ease the sting of this being my last day of vacation.

The Filet-Mignon wrapped in bacon even helped me forget the "#&$!@" bolt that broke off in the "Free Toyota's" intake manifold.

I brought the Panel SS to a Van-in over the weekend, it was well received. Sleeping in it was a different story. I'm looking into a Lil Guy teardrop camper now...john
