Thank you GDZHHR for the transplant part!
I think some of Bob is on quite a few members rides now. His tails are on mine.

I might just get outside and take my time to wash the HHR, the wife took her GT to work today, and the temps are a little above freezing!

Hmmm...Home alone, keys to the HHR handy, aren't you just a wee bit tempted to take a cruise around the block?

I know you wouldn't do that Oldblue, so enjoy your time with a bucket of soapy water and a sponge, might be better than cardiac rehab.

Well that didn't go well! I went outside and my buddy pulled up in the driveway and asked if he could help me out and install a set of upper strut bearing plates on my HHR.
I said well alright now that is what friends are for! We changed out the plates he takes instruction very well, and he took excellent direction on changing front brakes and struts on his HHR!
I came in the house 3 hours later after saying thank you and goodbye , looked out at my HHR and realized I didn't wash it, well it'll have to wait till tomorrow!!! Maybe!

Oldblue. New brakes and struts out-trump a wash job anytime.

That's a nice buddy you've got.

I'm with George there Oldblue, a dirty, non-rattling HHR beats a clean HHR in the depths of Winter.

And your buddy can now stop and go down the road without bouncing, a "Win-Win" deal in my books.

Speaking of dirty, my black '06 is now cruddy after being driven in the rain for the third time this week, tomorrow's forecast...more rain...blech!
