Oh, I should give credit to my camera person , she braved the -25 WC and snapped those pics my lovely wife, I was left in the car at the curb to stay warm.
Yesterday I went over to Niagara Falls NY for a coffee with the guys, funny none of them drove their hot rods.

Didn't happen today, but Tuesday.

Driving from one city to another, windy day, some freshly fallen snow. Come to a jog in the road, not going horribly fast, slowed down more for the jog, and wasn't slow enough with snow in the jog itself. Maintained my wheel direction to try and counter, no good. Slid off the side of the road, narrowly missing 2 trees, and coming to rest in a snow pile in front of one of them. Snow was up to the middle of my wheel, and more than half of me was off the road. Bad luck right? While I am figuring out "What the..... and how the....." along comes a County Road Commission Plow. He stops short, allows the other cars to pass him, and comes and asks if I am okay. Told him fine, just stuck. He asks if I have a strap or chain, and I don't. He says "Well, I got a chain here I think, but uh, I can't hook you up." I look at him and I say "yeah, I know liability right?" He nods. So I say, "You know what, if you're willing to let me use your equipment, I'll hook it up to my car. I understand the risk, and accept it." He nodes, and hands me a hook on the chain, and I attach it to the cross support on the axle, and fish it under the car. Walk around back and take 3ft distance of chain from my car, and hold it straight. Give him the signal to roll back and pick up the slack. Get it tight, and slowly rolls back, I get traction and straighten out facing direction. Crawl under and unhook the chain. The days I wish I had a $20 bill. I don't carry cash though. I told him thank you VERY much, and shook his hand. He says "hey man, don't worry. We've all been there." Wished me a good day, and got back in his truck.

That was only one of 3 adventures so far this week.....

Fingers crossed for good test results Oldblue, you've been through the mill my friend, it's about time that the docs give you more good news.

As for me, I drove my Rent-A-Camaro from Los Angeles to Sacramento and back, six hours up and six hours down. But it was a nice drive, and the California State Railroad Museum is an amazing facility, seriously cool stuff there for Certified Train Nuts like me.

California State Railroad Museum

As is my habit, I counted HHR's spotted on the drive, the total came to 39.

Flew home from Los Angeles, and drove my '06 Daily Driver home from the airport, cruched fender and door still waiting to be replaced.

Maybe this coming weekend my schedule will allow me to swap out the crunched bits for the uncrunched bits, and change the critter's oil too.
