Please accept our condolences Oldblue, and remember that she'll live on in your heart.

If you need anything, just shout out OK. We're family here, and we've got your back Buddy.

Hmmm...cue Rod Serling, roll theme music....

"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call The HHR Zone."

I parked Black beauty for two 1/2 months of the winter.

This is what I found when checking her out!

I think it is a chipmunk or a ground squirrel but could have been a mouse.
How they get in is a mystery to me! Supposed to be a closed system.

We just returned from a 1200 mile trip to S.Carolina and back . Drove the black 2LT Panel. It was fun running 75-80 mph most of the trip! I learned a few new things about the HHR.

"Ice Possible" on the DIC- I've never seen this before. It first appeared at 38 degrees.

I tried Mid Grade gas on the way home instead of Premium, Got 27 instead of 28.5 MPG, It used to get 30 -31 before the Tune and the Tripletread Goodyears ( that stick like suction cups)

While waiting on my wife at Snoopers antique mall, I read the owners manual to pass time, and learned that when the lights are on AUTO and you turn on the wipers, the headlights will come on!
I've said years ago, that should be a feature for all of the idiots who don't think its necessary to turn on headlights when raining or in fog.

As far as Panels, I only saw only one lonely white HHR Panel the whole trip.

and the Panel turned 30,000 miles on the way home. Overall it was a good trip...john

Oil change this weekend. Tried to reset the tire pressure sensor, but it is a bum sensor so time to replace. Will be swapping out a front hub as soon as temps are a bit more conducive (methinks mid 50's is a good starting point).
