I took my seats to the upholstery shop...

...and walked out $1,300.00 lighter in the wallet...

Gonna be black with red centers, and red stitching on all the black parts. The upholstery guy talked me into using vinyl rather than leather, I hadn't known that most of my "leather" seats were actually vinyl anyway and it saved me about $400.00. He said it takes about 8 hours per seat to cut all the pieces and stitch, etc.

We might do a shoot in his shop with the girls doing some of the work...I'm keepin my fingers crossed...

I finally installed the head light bezels today. I approve of them. They installed easy ,came with an alcohol swab and some primer/adhesion promoter (that looked like liquid superglue) and had the red 3M tape on the back.
One hint, have your headlights on when you put them on so it's easier to line them up with the edge of the light housing.

And the last one is last weekend's marathon buff, polish and waxing on the SS.

Those bezels look right at home on your panel! Very cool!

Today is a rest up day so no rides in the HHR.
Sweetie doesn't have to get to Hamilton for chemo until Thursday, they'll hook her up to a five day pump like last time, at least she'll be home here and comfy!

Dang 2many, those bezels really look sweet!

No "did" with my HHR's today, just rebuilt my Snap-On floor jack with Dusty's help, so that I can jack 'em up again.

Dusty has discovered the joy of a new Snap-On catalog, he's going page by page asking "does we have that Daddy?" and "what's that do?".

Since we bought the farm, I'm thinking that in about three years we'll be shopping for a kid size four wheeler or a go kart. Let the fun begin.

Thanks Oldblue and 843de for the thumbs up. I'd like to put a chrome strip on the running boards, but I don't want to cross the line of too much chrome...john

I ordered a can of SEM Vinyl Spray Paint in Flame Red...

It was a WHOLE lot cheaper than what I spent Friday at the upholstery shop for the seats, but still made a dent in my nearly depleted wallet...

That is going to be used on the seat bolt plastic caps, a part of the door panels on the front doors and possibly on the radio bezel.

Cleaned out drain lines in sunroof

I spent about an hour cleaning out the drain lines from the sunroof today. I used weed eater line and compressed air and it worked out fine. No more water on floor of driver side.

Easy fix if not too stopped up, I will make a point of doing this about every six months.

Just thought some of you would like to know, a real problem solver.
