Just a run to Hamilton for some blood work, still just about the same MPG with the new exhaust and the K&N FIPK , but it's early let's see what it's is in early January!
Sweetie is kicking cancers behind, but the chemo is roughing her innards up!

Lots of water to hydrate, she can almost keep food down for three to four hours.

6:00 PM is just about here and it's Monday so crank it up!!

Replaced origonal Firestones on my 2011 LS with Goodyear Assurance All Seasons. First set lasted 4 1/2 years and 53k miles. Wanted to change before winter sets in.

When I called the adjuster his voice mail said he was out on sick leave, I then called the 800 number and started *****ing, got a call back from his fill in who was in a body repair shop, long story short finally got a new adjuster and was told that I had four in front of me and he would get to my car within 36 to 48 hours........ we will see.

Ron my friend, and fellow Lionel Trains nut, you have the patience of a Saint. By now the folks at "The Geeky Gecko" Insurance Company would have had the Insurance Commissioner sick'd on them.

I left Michelle and Dusty in the care of our old friend and neighbor Mrs. Cooper while I made a flying trip to the pharmacy for gauze pads, tape, and the prescription antibiotic ointment for Michelle's wound.

Paddy was picking 'em up and putting 'em down as we say in the South, so much so that I got a finger wagging lecture by our Police Chief and family friend concerning my velocity on Highway 29.

"Mike you'll be no good to Michelle, Dusty, or this town if you stretch your damn fool neck, OK", so I need to remember to decouple my stress level from the "Loud Pedal".

And my apologies to Oldblue and his Sweetie, I just plain "spaced" on the 6pm "Crank It", so very sorry about that.

Give everyone my Best, Mike.

I decided I miss having an HHR so much.. I want to come home..

ISO: HHR SS in Blue or Black with or without mods, straight trade for a 2015 Chevy Cruze 1.4L turbo with 13,000 miles.

10-4 LawDog88 & Oldblue, the Stress/Temper + Loud Pedal = Finger Wagging by the KPD equation has existed since I started driving.

So there's 3+ decades of history there, but no speeding tickets, just a collection of "Written Warnings" and "Gol dang it kid, would you do your racin' over at the track!" speeches.

My "did" today was pulling all of the HHR's out, plus the GTX, so my High School friend Ricky and his boy could borrow my engine hoist and transmission jack. Ricky's daughter has found out that if you never check the oil in your '93 Civic DX, the engine eventually goes "BOOM!".

So Ricky and another old friend Gene are giving Sandie's "Skeezix" a heart transplant over the next couple of nights.

Michelle is doing much better today, she kept breakfast and lunch down fine, and she's drinking plenty of Gatorade to keep her hydration up along with her electrolytes.

The Oncologists have her scheduled for another blood transfusion Thursday morning, then we'll discuss whether or not she's done with her Chemo, or if they're going to go ahead with the last two scheduled infusions.

Fingers crossed that her test results from Sunday will indicate that the Chemo regimen can be ended early, as Oldblue and his Sweetie know all to well, Chemo tears you up.

everything else is replaced when required, and we don't want to wait till it goes boom!!

Mike Michelle sounds as if she is doing better, GOOD NEWS. T new adjuster was assigned about noon Monday and by 3 yesterday he was done and the dealer was already starting, they are replacing the trans with a user one with 11,000 less miles on it with a lifetime warranty. I guess they don't realize how long most of us keep these. They also are replacing the oil pan as some of the fins were broke off. I am looking forward to getting it back.
