What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Oh boy Steve, please keep us updated, that's a serious deal and our thoughts and prayers are with you both.
As for me, just keepin' on doing the things that need doing, it's been 13 days since Mom passed away and I'm trying to get back to being "me" again.
That includes going back to work flying jets, so my HHR's are doing what they do best, haulin' tail up and down I-85 & I-485.
Now that is out of the way, please don't hesitate to call, e-mail, or PM if you or your Sweetie need anything Steve, y'all are family here.

Thoughts and Prayers from me here too OldBlue.
what i did to my HHr was . . . . . . i updated my thread bout struts also.
i had the left front strut replaced
The dung dung when turning the wheel from lock to lock is gone.!
thats the good news. I have not gotten my Hhr on the highway lately.
Been having the wheel shimy once i got to
certain speed. Now the speed is lower ~ guessing next step is the
intermediate steering shaft.

Thank you, very much. I'm watching her like a hawk! Sweetie has never been one to sit still for more than dinner, always on the move doing seven or eight things at once! I had to go out to the store today it was 43 degrees Centigrade or 108 degrees F , no I've in the igloo tonight!
When I came back she was downstairs starting a load of laundry and her left ankle was puffed up like a basketball.
I got her upstairs to bed and elevated her leg and the swelling subsided after 30 to 45 minutes. That scared her and I, she promises to listen to me now.
I told she better or she'll get Oldblue and I'm getting a Panel!

Very cool Sam!
Today is foot up and rest for Sweetie, and perch and watch for me the nagging old man!
I told her to listen up, or I maybe could afford an SS panel!!
She laughed and said to be good to her as she gets to pick the home I go to!
I'm backing off just a bit!!!!!

Installed my shifter
2 nights ago I finally got around to installing my TWM short shift kit that I had sitting around for at least 6 months. The hardest part was getting the knob off! Took me 2 hours taking my time and following the directions with each step. Also installed the optional base bushings. I pulled up on the shifter base and it would not budge. So I gave her a little more love, it broke free, and I sliced my thumb open on the center console inside trim! Bled all over inside the base and my 10 year old daughter asked why I was happy that I was bleeding. I told her that my car and I are now blood brothers! I absolutely love how she shifts now..... but my thumb still hurts.
Yesterday , the oil life reminder , did its job and reminded me to change my oil, when I opened the box for my Fram oil filter for synthetic oil it was proudly stamped in white on the black plastic " made in the USA" , I was in a hurry and dirty so I didn't take a picture

........... and you get your panel.............
