Max three clicks on that there gas cap, in the owners manual and I remember a TSB for just one click .

Today not much, I'm having a bad reaction to a medication change. So, ride it out and wait for another Doctor appointment on Friday

Came back to the good ole U.S.A. on Sunday.

Mother-in-Law much improved thankfully and moved into a Cardiac Rehab wing.

Paddy was not full of balls, bouncy or ping pong, thankfully. Just freshly serviced and gleaming from a complimentary detail while we were in Canada.

Take care of yourself and your Sweetie there Oldblue, she's really going through a rough patch and now you are too.

Please do let us know if there's anything we can do for either of you...OK.

Glad everyone is doing OK, hopefully they can figure out some meds for ya ol blue (and you get rid of these ads!). I've been busy getting ready for our vacation. We're headed to Ontario to visit the falls and check out the sites.

Not really anything I did today, but as I said we've been busy. Saturday I purchased an HHR for myself at auction!

It's an 08 LT, not sure on milage as the dash/wiring is all tore up. It's missing a few interior panels and 3 headrests. Also, missing a few major components (engine, trans, axles). Picked it up cheap, 500 bucks, the car is solid no rust. Few dents here and there, that's expected. The worst damage is from the previous owner literally ripping the engine and trans out from the top. The core support is all beat up, no problem.

The color is awesome! It was listed as purple. I didn't know they made a purple one. Upon closer inspection it's also metallic! Changes from blue-purple to bright purple in the sun. Anyone know what this color is called? I have Waterbased 19b on my build tag.

It was a repo auction, so I'm guessing they sold whatever they could while they still had it in their possession. The plan is to make this "The Joker" HHR to my wife's Harley Quinn SS. I am rebuilding the Gen2/K04 to replace the missing 2.2. I'm looking for an SS ECM and wiring harness (which will probably cost as much as the car). I'm going to upgrade the wife's trans and axles and put the originals back with the gen2.

Well, that's enough for now. I'll start my new thread (Project Under Budget) when I get home next week. Here's some pics for now.

That's Amythyst, I don't see 19b in the GM paint codes they show Cashmere, but it does look like a match for the Joker's jacket from the 1967 Batman movie.
You coming over to Canada or checking out Falls from your side? If I'm feeling better we could meet up for lunch, either side is good.

Replaced front rotors and adjusted the rear drums. Then had my wife laugh at me because I purchased a 250ft lb Snap On torque wrench and spent the rest of the day playing...ummm.... making sure everything was torqued properly.

How are you and your Sweeitie doing Oldblue? Any improvement on either of your parts, we worry about you ya know.

As for my "did", well it was a "didn't" really. Due to the threats of severe weather I took Buford the newest addition to the four wheeled family to work.

Buford is a 2005 Crown Vic Interceptor picked up at auction, and given a quick but nice respray in Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department gold, pics to come of the big 'ol critter soon.

I bought it for pennies on the dollar, and with it's cavernous back seat, and rubber "carpeting", it's super "kid friendly". And with 246 horsepower and a 3.55 rear axle ratio, it'll move right now when you poke the throttle.

And driving it on the highway is like parting The Red Sea, folks look up and see that black grille and spotlight on the a-pillar, and they just scoot on over to the right lane.

The body shop finished Buford the day my Mom passed away, but I bet she's up there grinning, because she always said I'd buy another ex-cruiser someday.
