843de - dang low-lifes eh? We get enough of them up here as well. A few years ago, a neighbour was wondering why someone would break in to steal some visible loose change (probably less than $1), when they would cause hundreds of $'s of damage. He had a hard time understanding that the low-life's just don't care.

Hope it gets back on the road for you quick.

Hauled the tools out, pulled the summer wheels/tires, lubed the sway bar struts and sway bar bushings, checked the tightness of the front swing arm rear bushings bolts, threw the winter rims/tires on. Topped up the oil, washer fluid, and checked the coolant level. Stacked the summer wheels in the back yard to give a good wash/wax before putting they away in storage.

Low Life's, definitely a more "Family Friendly" term than I was using whopper, my ability to make a Pirate blush was in full evidence last night.

A coworker once said that "I worked in four letter words like DaVinci worked in oil paint", get me angry enough and Teamsters will dive for cover.

But today is another day, my Sweetie goes in for Chemo Round #2 at 10am, then on the way home we'll swing by the body shop to view the carnage by the light of day, and see what Nationwide's adjuster has come up with.

LOTS OF LUCK TO YOUR SWEETIE 843de!! my Dad just went thru chemo and is awaiting his year progress report!!

last week i ordered my stabilizer bar endlinks from amazon. thursday i received one?!?! and received a message friday morning that the other is going out that afternoon?!?! oh well so i decided i will just do what i have.

this Saturda it was REAL windy up here. my house faces N to S and the wind just plows thru my driveway!! so i proceeded to change the oil, wind sprayed it around. thought i was low enuff and blocked well, guess not. then changed the passenger side endlink, thought that was the culprit and for a change i guessed right!! when took it off the joint moved rather easily. buttoned it up took it for a drive the chattering sound is gone.

then i was washing and waxing her the next day, was ALOT nicer and less windy. guess what arrives, the other endlink! so i took care of that, it was just getting dark. after i finished it i took it for a drive. man after doing the hubs, brakes, LCA's and endlinks it feels almost like a new car!! just wish i did it all at once!! would have been a lot less work.

oh yeah i also did the rear brakes on the 85 SS washed and waxed the KIA. started my Saturn, just needed a jump and it started right up. it has been sitting for a few months. I like that little car but i really should get rid of her. man my first car weekend in years!! felt good!

Best wishes for your girl there 843de!!!
I hope she can help you with the tissues when you see the DD in the day light!!
We know she's gonna kick cancers butt to the curb and then around the block!!!

Sweetie and I just sat thru the rain delayed Cup race, cheered as they declared Junebug the winner!!!
We're sadly disappointed that the network we get our raving on cut to their regularly scheduled programming just before they interviewed Dale Jr.
Sweetie was hoping he'd remember to give her a shout out!!

Today I'm gonna swap over to my winter grille and put the mudflaps back on for the winter.
Then maybe put up the Christmas lights and outdoor decorations!

Chemo round #2 down, and Michelle is doing super, although that is some vile looking stuff they're putting into her. The nurse gave me a classic "Deer in the headlights stare" when I commented on the Chemo infusion looking like Ethylene Glycol. "What's that??", umm, antifreeze for cars, "Oh no Sir, it's not antifreeze, that's not good for you".

Sorry Oldblue with the Hospitality & Sponsor activities starting at 8am Phoenix time, and the interminable rain delay that followed, I'm a bit surprised that Jr. could remember his name, sponsors, and car number when NASCAR finally called an end to the "24 Hours of Phoenix".

What a silly Sunday, but if you want to break a drought, call NASCAR and it shall rain.

No Kleenex™ required when I saw the '06 today, it's as bad as it looked Saturday night, but Nationwide said "Fix It" and it'll purr down the road again in around 2-3 weeks. I authorized "Good Used Parts" in the repairs, we are talking something with 401,378 miles on the clock, so used parts will suffice.

After all, the right front fender has already been replaced this year with a salvage yard part, and once it was polished to match the rest of the beast...you'd never know.

Part of the repairs will be a full interior detailing and cleaning, my biggest issue is that low life scum were inside it, and until it gets scrubbed within' an inch of its life...I'll feel "icky" for the lack of a better term.

Nationwide took pics of the damage, and I'll have to see if my agent can get them for me, because by the time we stopped to check on it...there were bits here, there, and everywhere as the steering column came out.

We're off to Hamilton again today, follow up for bone marrow biopsy and blood work to confirm renal numbers are low enough for next round of chemotherapy.
And as we drive I be playing Sweetie this

Glad to see Michelle is kicking butt, you go girl!!
told you the green stuff isn't good for us or our HHRs !

I don't blame Junebug , he didn't even get to do a burn out, but he did his job to ensure Jeff has a better shot at the championship

Well Oldblue, to borrow a quote from Elwood Blues.

"We're models made before catalytic converters, so we run good on regular gas and we don't use DexCool".

So they can't run the "Orange Stuff" into her either.
