What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Chemo round #6 for Michelle, and she's really getting knocked on her butt by this stuff, but that means it's working.
Only four more infusions to to, Thank God!
Paddy got his 100 mile lugnut torque check after getting his new sneakers, next check at 84,948 miles and then every 250 miles thereafter.
Yes I'm more than a bit OCD with the HHR's, the Crown Vic Interceptor, and the '70 GTX...but to quote Daffy Duck in one of his money mad moments, "they're mine, all mine, bwah ha ha ha".

Splash her face and fan some air for her!
She's a fighting machine!! Now get back in there and keep her guard up!!!
Maybe a Rocky marathon or Million Dollar Baby !
Or just let her sleep and charge up her batteries!!

Just put air in the tires to clear the air fault from it being cold the other night. Just washed and waxed it too. Probably the last wax job this year. Just waxed it a month ago. Should be enuf protection till Spring.
Just ordered a catted zzp downpipe to go along with my borla exhaust. Should have all parts within the next two weeks and then it's wrench time!! If anyone is looking to order from zzp they are running their "cyber weekend" sale that ends on monday. Pretty good discounts. In order to see the discount the item needs to be added to the cart and then click on your cart to see the contents and then click checkout. The discounts will then appear.
Lets see, parked, parked, parked, and still just a Hugger Orange bodyshell with the Dynamat sound deadener finally done. That sums up the herd's status on Saturday, instead I worked on the car from the "Better Idea" people AKA Ford.
I've been chasing down a ropey idle on Buford the Crown Vic Interceptor, cracked intake manifold(of course), the "fantastic plastic" manifold has been replaced with an Edelbrock one now.
Dusty helped, and probably learned a few new bad words when the ratchet slipped and I punched the firewall....ouch!
P.S. I'm diggin' the Odometer readings Dw, but have you pulled the codes yet on that CEL?

A Big misconception among most drivers is what the octane ratings really mean. The simplest solution is use what the owners manual specifies. If it says to use 89 octane, then using 92 Premium fuel does nothing but lighten your wallet.
While I haven't been a professional mechanic for a very long time, I believe everything now-a-days will have a anti-knock sensor, meaning if you use to low of a octane fuel and the engine starts pre-combusting, the spark will be retarded to compensate. That of course reduces performance and fuel economy, so it's not desirable to do so. Best solution...look in your owners manual and see what the General says...then follow his orders...ahhh...recommendations...
