We finally got a day warm enough to go down and get some stuff done on the HHR. First, I got the battery put back in, then pumped ALL the tires up to specs....with a bicycle pump. Next I added the "PHOTO RESTORATION AND SPECIAL EFFECTS" line of text and last but far from least I got the re-upholstered seats installed.

Nice , now you will wait till the spring to drive it once again.
Today my did was just a drive out for groceries and back home, Sweetie needs to rest up for a bone marrow transplant in early April, she fights strong and hard, and the test results show she is in remission and good to go for the transplant.
She is not looking forward to another 6 weeks in the hospital, but she will do as she must to kick cancers butt to the curb!!

Hey gang,

Yup it's me, your Administrator Mike/843de.

Bet you've been wondering where I got off to, well here we go since my inbox has exploded with questions, notes of concern, and just general "Where the h*ll are you man?" messages.

1. I did not quit, nor do I have any intentions of quitting this Site. We're on the edge of many improvements, and some utterly cool deals coming in 2016, so why would I leave?

2. My "Vanishing Act" was not intentional, but the proverbial saying of "Too sick to die" does apply, I've been one sick puppy. (Physically dang it! Some of y'all have dirty minds, and that's why we're friends)

3. I wasn't in any shape to handle my duties here, but my Staff of Moderators did a fantastic job as always, thanks guys, YOU ARE THE BEST!

4. I'm feeling much better now, so give me a day or three to catch up, and I'll be back up to speed and as dangerous as ever.

As for my "did", I thought about driving HHR's, but I was grounded and even firing one up was out of the question.

took a cruise, met a forum member and his lovely wife, and bought some parts for my ride.
Thank you to brossow for the deals, hospitality, and tour of his automotive collection!

Brent is a great guy! We took a ride out for a coffee and short run along the Niagara River, it was 55 degrees F out and sunny!
