Picked up car after being in shop for a month and a half with CEL of P1400 (came and went) and P0171 (replaced O2 sensor upstream) reset code and P0171 has been solved for now. Crossing my fingers. Glad to have car back and sure did miss driving it and the clunking sounds.

Had a strange creaking when turning the wheels to full lock out. Sounded just like a bushing. However the struts, lower control arms, sway bar bushings and end links are new. It only happened when the brakes were applied. Looked everything over and it turns out the caliper piston was sticking and making the noise. So after injecting grease with a syringe into the caliper piston seals the noise is gone. This has to be the weirdest cause of a noise ever.

Finally got around to going to Auto Zone and replacing my old remote key fob for the '06 with a fresh, new programmable Dorman unit. Took only a few moments and VOILA! I now have remote locking and unlocking doors! I guess mine doesn't have remote start as that function didn't work. I even programmed the key fob that the PO bought but hadn't had programmed at the "stealership". Next up... one for the '07 (that particular location only had one correct model in stock, so no joy). I checked at an Advance Auto Parts and they wanted to charge me more and add shipping fees, too boot. Uh... yeah... right!
